Excellent company! I recently had gutters installed. Could not praise them more. The installers were very professional, took obvious pride in their work, and did a great job including the cleanup. Kleinschmidt also did my new roof several years ago and also my daughter's. I recommended this company to a friend for gutters and they also were well pleased with the work. The Kleinschmidt team of a dozen people showed up on time and finished as promised by late afternoon. The crew was polite and respectful of our property. The best part of the day was the wonderful clean up after the roof was finished. There was not a wrapper, nail, or part of a shingle anywhere on our property. I highly recommend RDK.
RDK crew, lead by Brian, replaced our siding in October. They did a fantastic job. We were impressed by the daily communication. They were personable and professional. They left things clean and tidy every evening. The house looks great and we will definitely contact them again for future projects.

Where to begin ? From choosing the correct shingles, choosing the coordinating drip edge and flashing, choosing the installation date and being reassured that the project would be completed as described. The crew and the manager were superb. They cleaned up while the installation was in progress and the final result is the envy of the neighborhood. I highly recommend RDK, (Kleinschmidt) roofing. By the way. A new roof qualifies for a reduction in our annual home owners insurance policy. Considerable!!!
I have to say they are the very best and here is why:— Kleinschmidt was the most reasonable bid out of 7 by $1500.00+—I made sure all companies were bidding with the same parameters—all other companies spent a minimum of one hour to a maximum of 5 hours going over the details of their bid???—it took me three weeks to make the decision—even though Kleinschmidt was the most reasonable. I’m an old lady and I wanted to be sure—make sure I was comparing apples to apples—EXCELLENT work — started at 7:00 AM—-finished at 3:00PM—not a scrap of paper left on the ground——I would highly recommend—- they offer 0% financing which I acceptedTHEY ARE THE VERY BEST—

This company is amazing. They answered all our questions, helped us out by delivering shingle boards to us to help decide between colors. Everyone from the rep, the office staff to the project manager and crew were professional and courteous.It was an especially hot day and I appreciate the concern for the workers by having a lot of water available, I was worried about them a bit.The work was well done and we are so pleased. I would gladly recommend this company to anyone I know.
The storms this summer forced me to replace the gutters on my house, and some of my colleagues highly recommended R.D. Kleinschmidt. Ty came out within a few days, carefully looked over everything and gave me a very acceptable estimate. They did the work in a very timely fashion. The crew had to come back to finish up a few things, but that was at my request, nothing they did wrong. I am very happy with the way the gutters look. A very professional job. We were very pleased with our experience with Kleinschmidt. They responded to our concern about a leak in our roof on the same day we called. They fixed the leak and indicated that we probably needed a new roof. Our roof was 25 years old and had been installed by them. We decided to have a new roof done, and it was installed less than three weeks later in a span of eight hours. They took great care to protect our property and landscaping while they were working and they did an excellent job of cleaning up afterwards except for a couple of nails. Very professional and efficient . We would have no qualms about recommending them to others.
15 years after install I've found 3 leaks on my roof. Basically no flashing just tar and granule. Couldn't dislike art lock shingles any less. If I only knew better at the time they wouldn't have gotten away with such poor workmanship.
Done in one day. Fast and easy process. I had some leaks and Devin recomended the fix. They found additional issues during the process and fixed those too. Very happy with the outcome. No more leaks. Thank you RDK
We have had been targeted by several door knocking roof companies which all told us we need a new roof because visual streaking on the shingles was indicative of bigger problems... Ryan came to our house, reviewed the roof, told us that our roof still had about 10 years of life left. He found that the streaking was entirely cosmetic due to a combination of shade, roof shape, and water run off. He even recommended a store bought product that could be used to protect against additional cosmetic damage.While we did not end up using their service this time, I wanted to leave a review because of their candor in not quoting our roof for replacement.We will definitely contact Kleinschmidt again when we do need roof work!

Have used for multiple trim projects and now our roof and gutters. They always do a great job and are easy to work with. Projects are completed on time and the site is left clean. Honest sales representatives - our estimate / proposal left out a downspout which they caught, but still honored the initial estimate.

We had great experience with R.D.K. They just completed our roof replacement for both house and barn in one day. Their crew did top notch work with timely manner. Requested both a roof replacement quote and re-flashing quote on chimney. Quotes were competitive with other companies on both requests. We ended up going with a repair. The repair was scheduled promptly, and they were flexible on dates and times. When the date of the work came, their employees arrived early, worked quickly, and did a great job! All in all, a great company to work with in the Ann Arbor area, and will be using them again when I end up needing the roof replaced.

My family has done business with RD Kleinschmidt, Inc. for decades. They recently responded to perform temporary repairs to our roof when a large tree damaged the roof. They later replaced the roof. They were true to their bid, and the crew respected our property. We ended up with a spectacular new roof, and the property was cleaner when they left than when they arrived.
